On June 11, East Middle School held the 8th-grade promotion ceremony at Oak Creek High School.

EMS Students Join the Cast of The SpongeBob Musical!
East students joined the cast of the OCHS production of The SpongeBob Musical in mid-April! This was the first time that a middle school ensemble took part in a high school production, and our students did a terrific job!
Chinese Club Wrapped up the year by playing Jianzi
Most students had never played before, but they quickly fell in love with this fun traditional game. Students practiced individually, worked together in teams, and cheered each other on with lots of laughter along the way.
Way to go, 7th Grade Royal Volleyball Team!
The 7th Grade Royal Volleyball Team beat the undefeated Lake Denoon Middle School team in the conference tournament!
Congratulations to all of our volleyball teams! They all brought energy, determination, and true teamwork to the court all season long, and it showed when it mattered most.

Our transportation company, Go Riteway, was hit with a theft of catalytic converters. The bus company is still assessing the impact of the theft and making a determination of how many buses will be available to transport students. Your child may not have bus transportation to school this morning. The district will provide an update as soon as we have more information. If you are able to transport your child to school, please do so. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work with Go Riteway to address this unexpected situation.
